Eric Nichols

Upon receiving a BS in psychology from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., Eric joined Lat Purser & Associates in Charlotte, N.C. In 1995, Eric joined Core Properties to pursue his interest in retail tenant representation and third party shopping center leasing.

While at Core Properties, Eric was involved in the leasing and development of over 4,000,000 square feet of regional power centers throughout the Carolinas. These developments include Azalea Square (350,000 sq. ft.) in Summerville, S.C., Hanes Point (360,000 sq. ft.) in Winston Salem, N.C.; Hickory Ridge (350,000 sq. ft.) in Hickory, N.C.; New Centre Market (265,000 sq. ft.) in Wilmington, N.C.; South Ridge (410,000 sq. ft.) in Asheville, N.C.; University Commons (350,000 sq. ft.) in Greenville, N.C.; Wendover Place (550,000 sq. ft.) in Greensboro, N.C.; White Oak Crossing (695,000 sq. ft.) in Garner, N.C. and Winslow Bay (350,000 sq. ft.) in Mooresville, N.C.

During this same period, Eric also completed lease and sale transactions with over 100 different national retail and restaurant clients. These retailers include Target, Kohl's, Linens-n-Things, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Michael's, Ross Dress for Less, Rhode's Furniture, Cost Plus World Market, Old Navy, Pier 1 Imports, Hibbett Sports, Shoe Carnival, Party City, Dress Barn, Hallmark, Total Wine, Discount Tire, S&K Menswear, Dollar Tree, Blockbuster Video, Hollywood Video, Wachovia, First Citizens, SouthTrust, Wendy's, IHOP, Schlotzsky's Deli, McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Logan's Roadhouse Grill, Backyard Burger, O'Charley's, Atlanta Bread Co., Baja Fresh, Chili's, Zaxby's, Bear Rock Caf', Starbucks Coffee and Caribou Coffee as well as many others.

In 2004 after nine years with Core Properties, Eric joined Harris-Murr & Vermillion, LLC, which became TCG in 2007. Eric is now a member of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), the Charlotte and Asheville Chambers, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and holds real estate brokerage licenses in both North and South Carolina.
